Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our products, ordering process, and research guidelines

Do you accept returns?

Return eligibility

Alpha Health may accept returns of unused, unopened, and undamaged products within a defined window after delivery, subject to review. For quality and compliance reasons, opened or used vials are generally not eligible for return.

How to request a return

  • Contact Alpha Health Support with your order number and the item(s) you want to return.
  • If approved, Alpha Health will provide a return authorization and shipping instructions.
  • Use a trackable shipping method and package items securely.

Exceptions

Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on the circumstances (e.g., shipment errors, transit damage, or other issues).

What quality standards does Alpha Health use for products?

What we evaluate

  • Identity confirmation (e.g., mass spectrometry) to verify the compound matches the label.
  • Purity assessment (commonly HPLC). Target purity is listed on the COA for each batch.
  • Quantity/assay to confirm the amount is within an acceptable range for the labeled fill.
  • Where applicable, contamination screening such as sterility and bacterial endotoxins (commonly aligned to USP methods).
  • Heavy metals screening may be performed for select products (often via ICP-MS).

Acceptance criteria

Acceptance criteria can vary by compound and intended laboratory method. The definitive specifications and results are documented on the batch’s Certificate of Analysis (COA).

Continuous improvement

Analytical standards evolve. Alpha Health periodically updates test panels and methods as better approaches become available and as customer research needs change.

Can I request a product you don’t carry?

Yes, sometimes

Alpha Health periodically expands its catalog. If you need a compound that is not currently listed, contact Support with details and we will review the request.

What to include in your request

  • Compound name (and sequence if applicable)
  • Preferred quantity / fill size
  • Any specific testing expectations (e.g., purity target, identity confirmation)
  • Timeline constraints (if any)

Evaluation timeline

New products may require additional sourcing, method development, and third-party verification before they are offered for sale. Depending on complexity, this evaluation can take several weeks or longer.

Outcome

Some requests can be fulfilled; others may be declined based on feasibility, compliance requirements, or quality considerations.
