Third-party HPLC, UPLC, and mass spectrometry analysis on every production run. Certificates of Analysis available for every
batch number. Independent labs. No self-certified results.
02 / WHY IT MATTERS
Why COAs matter for research
integrity
A Certificate of Analysis is a laboratory document confirming the identity, purity, and strength of a research compound. Without a valid COA from an
independent laboratory, researchers cannot establish the identity or concentration of a compound used in their assays.
Impure compounds introduce variables that invalidate experimental results. In in vitro research, concentration accuracy directly affects reproducibility. A
compound listed as 99% pure but lacking HPLC verification provides no meaningful assurance.
Alpha Health provides batch-specific COAs from named third-party analytical laboratories. Every vial ships with a traceable lot number. COAs are available
for download per batch.

04 / CHROMATOGRAM
Reading a peptide purity chromatogram
HPLC chromatograms display compound peaks over retention time. The main peak
represents the target compound. Smaller peaks indicate impurities. Purity percentage
is calculated from peak area ratios.

05 / DUE DILIGENCE
How to evaluate any supplier's COA
Use this checklist when assessing any research peptide supplier. 0/6 criteria
checked.
Does the COA include an identity test (MS or NMR)?
Reputable labs run mass spec or NMR confirmation, not just purity.
Is the COA issued by a named third-party laboratory?
In-house testing is not independent verification. The lab name should be searchable.
Does the COA match the batch number on the vial label?
Batch-level COAs are tied to specific production runs, not general product certificates.
Is the purity method stated (HPLC, UPLC, UV)?
Unspecified "purity" without method disclosure is not verifiable.
Does the COA include an endotoxin test result?
Research-grade peptides should pass endotoxin testing (LAL or rFC method).
Is the COA dated within the last 12 months?
Outdated COAs do not reflect the current inventory being sold.
